Theoretically, the global industry can produce memory cards up to 128 TB, but in practice, to date, there was not even a model with a capacity of 1 TB. More precisely, several years ago, SanDisk introduced a prototype of such a device, but it never went on sale. And now, the Chinese company Longsys has finally launched the first terabyte SD card in history. The novelty was included in the Lexar Professional 633x SDHC and SDXC UHS-I family, which presents cards with a capacity of 16 GB or more. The model provides read speeds of up to 95 MB / s and write speeds of up to 70 MB / s. True, its specification indicates the class V30 / U3, which guarantees a stable write speed of only 30 MB / s. The price of the device is far from budgetary – $ 500!
