In Russia, the tightening of Internet control continues. This time, Roskomnadzor, or rather, the Main Radio Frequency Center subordinate to it, decided to take on the automation of tracking processes of how search engines, VPNs, proxy servers and anonymizers comply with the law on blocking sites prohibited on the territory of the country. To do this, it is planned to create an appropriate system. This contract has already appeared on the public procurement website. Its initial price is 25,000,000 rubles. The contractor will be selected on April 8, and the system itself should be created by December of this year. With the help of this system, authorities will be able to quickly find sites that managed to “escape” from locks.
