Samsung is trying to hide the front camera from the front panel of its smartphones. To do this, she uses cutouts and holes in the display, and also develops a solution that will completely hide the camera under the display. Meanwhile, she can take advantage of the technique already tested by other manufacturers – to equip the smartphone with a retractable camera module.
According to the well-known insider OnLeaks, the company’s engineers are just working on such a device. He published renderings of the upcoming Samsung smartphone (probably the Galaxy A series), whose front camera is housed in a retractable module on the top of the case. Thanks to this, it will be possible to realize a continuous display without cutouts and holes without using a large upper frame. But the negative aspect of this approach can be called the need to wait before using the camera. So far, many data about this device remain unknown. In the image you can see that the device contains a triple main camera and a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. Thus, we can assume that this will be a budget or mid-range device, devoid of AMOLED display and sub-screen fingerprint scanner. The approximate dates for the announcement of this model are also not called.
