Huami Announces Wireless Headphones That Can Track Heartbeat

Huami, primarily known as a manufacturer of wearable electronics for Xiaomi, has presented an interesting novelty under its own brand Amazfit – completely wireless Powerbuds headphones that can track your heart rate during training.

The gadget is equipped with a PPG heart rate sensor, which allows you to accurately determine your heart rate. And the novelty is able to send voice notifications when the heart rate exceeds a preset value. This is very important for cardio workouts, the effectiveness of which depends precisely on the correct rhythm of the heartbeat.

Special magnetic earhooks are provided to allow you to wear the headphones snugly and keep them in your ears, even during intense workouts. For everyday use, the ear clips can be removed and stored in the charging case. On a single charge, the earbuds provide up to 8 hours of continuous playback, and thanks to the included charging case, Powerbuds can work up to 24 hours.
