Paul Dabarro, the developer of Blender’s cloth brush toolset, has shared a couple of new features on twitter. A few days ago he shared a new Boundary Brush that’s designed to sculpt geometry according to its boundary edge loops. It has several falloff modes including the ability to create repeating patterns
The Boundary Brush falloff modes are now in Blender 2.91.
