HARMAN opens a new segment for itself – the gaming industry. At CES 2020, the company showed off its new JBL Quantum line of headphones, designed specifically for gamers. It presents 7 models, all of them received a new development by QuantumSOUND Signature to create powerful bass and clear high frequencies.The top-end JBL Quantum One is designed for professional e-sportsmen: it uses the QuantumSPHERE 360 with integrated head position sensors for a more realistic feel of virtual space. In this model, as well as the Quantum 800, they have an active noise reduction function that eliminates extraneous sounds.The new Quantum headphones, as expected, are made in an aggressive design with a decor in the form of luminous elements. Depending on the model, different connection methods are provided: from banal USB and a 3.5-inch jack to wireless formats Bluetooth 5.0 and a 2.4 GHz channel.The gaming headset wasn’t the only interesting Harman premiere at CES 2020. The JBL LIVE range was expanded with a fully wireless 300TWS model with Ambient Aware and TalkThru technology and IPX5 protection, while the TUNE family got 220TWS with Pure Bass bass amplification technology In addition, already in 2020, the new JBL CLUB line will be available for professional musicians and Harman Kardon FLY, focused on travelers. Each model has its own peculiarities: for example, the older FLY ANC, even with the active noise reduction function turned on, can work up to 20 hours on a single charge. Prices for new models are still unknown.
