E-book maker Onyx showed a prototype Android smartphone with an e-ink screen several years ago. And at the last exhibition, the company introduced a new version of the device. And although it does not yet have a name, full characteristics and release date, something is already known. The novelty is built on some eight-core ARM processor, has a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port for charging, support for Wi-Fi / 4G / LTE / Bluetooth and a 5.8-inch E-Ink screen. True, black and white. The software uses Android 9.0 Pie with support for the Play Store. At the same time, the screen has four update modes: normal, high-speed, A2 Mode and X Mode. And although it has not yet been shown how they differ, we can assume that the latter allows you to play and watch videos. No pricing and release date yet
