Korean company Samsung officially unveiled the new tablet computer Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). The gadget received a 8.4-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The tablet is based on a proprietary eight-core Exynos 7904 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz.

There are 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. The latter can be increased using a microSD memory card. There is an 8-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front camera, stereo speakers and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack with support for Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. The dimensions of the tablet are 201.9 x 125.2 x 7.1 mm, weight – 317 grams. With comparative compactness and lightness on board the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), there was a place for a capacious 5000 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, on one charge the gadget is able to live up to 12 hours in video playback mode or up to 11 hours in Internet surfing mode. The tablet computer is running the Android 9 Pie operating system with the proprietary One UI shell.
