THE ANCIENT GODS CAN BE PURCHASED WITHOUT DOOM ETERNAL, BUT DLC IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE MAIN CAMPAIGN

The first expansion for the DOOM Eternal story campaign , The Ancient Gods, Part One, kicks off this October . As it turned out, it is not necessary to purchase the main game – the DLC will be distributed including as an independent shooter.

In an interview with PCGamesN, Executive Producer Marty Stratton and Game Director Hugo Martin reassured that The Ancient Gods is on a massive scale . The expansion is divided into two parts, and together this pair can compete in scope with the main campaign of DOOM Eternal – not so much in terms of duration, but in the number of different events.

No radically new mechanics are foreseen, but the structure of the levels will throw up a few surprises, and players will have to cope with new opponents. In addition, from the very beginning of The Ancient Gods,  a full arsenal of the main plot is open. While the DLC is a stand-alone DLC, it is still intended for those who completed DOOM Eternal . There will be many marauders!

If you choose to buy  The Ancient Gods separately from the main game, then you will have to pay $ 19.99 for each of the two parts, while the DOOM Eternal Season Pass with the same add-ons costs $ 29.99. Standalone versions of The Ancient Gods include access to the BATTLEMODE multiplayer mode.
